Work

I am so excited! Today, after much research and preparation, I sent out emails to about a dozen organizations that we are considering working with. Hopefully, some of them will want to accept our volunteers and then we’ll get more volunteers doing exciting things here in Lima and saving the world! Okay maybe I’m being a little idealistic.

Still though, I’m really excited about some of the new organizations.  There’s one that works with people who have AIDS, several that work with poor neighbourhoods in Lima, several that work with organic farms, one that seems to do corporate social responsibility work, one that focuses on women’s rights, etc.  Hopefully they get back to me soon!
