We ended up sleeping until noon (well more like one) at a hotel called Hostal Tres Mascaras, which was not actually our first choice. Our first choice was this colonial home converted into a hotel that we were unable to reach in advance to book rooms and it was full.
Serendipitously, Tres Mascaras is quite lovely. The matron is so nice and there are two dogs, two parrots, and two lovebirds, and lots of pretty flowers.
