El Mirador

“Mirador” means “lookout” in Spanish, and there is a wonderful one in Ayacucho.  Basically it’s on a hill overlooking the city, and it was such a wonderful place to relax and feel the breeze.  From a sailor’s perspective, I enjoyed seeing the weather come in, and see where it was raining (for the record, it started raining about an hour after the photo was taken).

We hung out for a few hours and had some ice cream, and then discovered that there were a bunch of people filming an exercise video, which also was fun to watch.
